Website information and account access

Information used by the website
Account access uses your email address, account identifier and assigned application permissions. Sign-in, verification and password recovery are handled through our authentication provider. Permission changes and security events are recorded to protect accounts and investigate problems.
Security logs can include an IP address, approximate country, browser information and the time and type of a security event. These are separate from the aggregate page counter. Security events are retained for 30 days by the current website service.
Page counts and browser storage
The page counter records aggregate page openings by date, page, approximate country and referral category. It does not store visitor names, IP addresses or persistent visitor identifiers. These counts are page views, not a count of unique people.
Session cookies support sign-in and account verification. Your browser also stores your language preference and, when selected, the preference to exclude test visits from the counter.
Messages and sensitive information
The support and pilot tools prepare a draft in your browser. Preparing or copying a message does not submit a ticket or send it to us or to an AI service. If you send an email, its contents are processed by your email provider and ours so we can respond. Do not include passwords, patient identifiers or private medical records.
Providers and external links
Hosting, authentication and email providers process the information needed to deliver their services. Their processing locations may differ from yours. External prototypes and linked websites have their own access and privacy arrangements; a Grapes Medical account does not automatically grant access to them.
Requests, retention and updates
You can contact us to ask what account information we hold, request a correction, or request deletion or restriction of processing where applicable. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may need to be retained for security, unresolved matters or applicable obligations.
A general retention schedule for account and correspondence records, and the application-specific provider and data-location details, must be finalized before public application launch. Material changes will be described in an updated notice.
